Join our thriving distribution center in Baltimore, Maryland as a Warehouse Associate! We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to support a wide range of warehouse activities, including order picking, packing, stocking, and general warehouse upkeep. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of customer orders. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be comfortable with physical tasks, including regular Lifting and movement. A strong commitment to Safety and teamwork is essential for success in this position. We value individuals who are proactive and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Receive and put away incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to Safety and quality control.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Understanding of general logistics operations.
- Commitment to following Safety guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED required.
