About
We are seeking a diligent Distribution Center Associate to join our operations in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to the smooth functioning of our logistics network, involving a variety of tasks related to inventory handling and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against documentation.
- Pick and pack items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Stage and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely, adhering to all operational and Safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all guidelines for the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Assist with replenishment of stock to picking locations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics process.
- Must be comfortable with regular physical demands, including frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, prioritizing Safety in all tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to learn and operate warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Must be physically capable of performing tasks involving sustained standing, walking, and repetitive Lifting.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions precisely.
- Reliable and punctual team player.
