We are actively recruiting a Picker/Packer for our Des Moines, Iowa distribution center. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. Your efficiency and attention to detail directly impact our logistics operations and customer satisfaction. You will use scanning technology to ensure order accuracy and manage inventory flow. We are committed to a Safe working environment, and adherence to all Safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are capable of performing tasks involving moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Pack selected items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and verify order accuracy.
- Stage prepared orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company Safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is a plus.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
