Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Inspect items for any damage or defects before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently, using appropriate packing materials.
- Verify picked and packed items against order details for accuracy.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate hand-held scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Perform frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picker/packer role or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
