Seeking diligent Order Pickers for our expanding logistics facility in Baltimore, Maryland! This role is fundamental to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As an Order Picker, you will navigate the warehouse using scanning equipment to locate and retrieve items for shipment. Maintaining a high level of Safety awareness and efficiency is crucial. You'll be an essential part of our fulfillment process, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. This role involves significant physical activity and requires the ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently. Proper use of PPE is required.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Stage completed orders for loading onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- This position involves frequent Lifting, often requiring the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Contribute to the efficient workflow of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order details.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical capability for consistent walking, bending, and Lifting throughout the shift.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
