We have an exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for efficiently picking items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment. This position is key to our logistics and customer satisfaction efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory movement and ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely and appropriately for safe transit, minimizing damage.
- Verify order contents against customer orders before packing.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Move inventory as needed, utilizing pallet jacks and other equipment.
- Participate in inventory control activities and stock checks.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capacity for moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
