About
Our Durham, North Carolina facility is looking for an energetic Warehouse Associate to support our growing operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods, from initial receipt to final shipment. This position demands a commitment to efficiency, accuracy, and most importantly, safety. You will be part of a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a proactive approach are highly valued. The responsibilities are diverse, covering all aspects of warehouse management.
Responsibilities:
- Accept, verify, and unload incoming shipments.
- Place received items into appropriate storage locations.
- Accurately retrieve items for outgoing orders.
- Package products safely and efficiently for transit.
- Assist in loading outbound freight.
- Conduct inventory checks and reconciliations.
- Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and hazard-free.
- Operate material handling equipment, ensuring proper use and care.
- Report any inventory inaccuracies or damages promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous.
- Capability for sustained physical activity, including regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles is helpful.
- Must adhere to all company safety policies and wear designated PPE.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all.
