Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations: receiving, inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices, including proper use of PPE.
- Monitor productivity and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits and system updates.
- Manage the allocation and use of warehouse equipment, ensuring proper maintenance.
- Foster a safe and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Resolve operational issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize the supply chain and logistics processes.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing a warehouse team and operations.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, safety procedures, and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and implement performance improvements.
- Proficiency in lifting and operating warehouse equipment safely.
- Capability of performing physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
