About
Our busy distribution center in Charlotte is looking for energetic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our operations team. This role is fundamental to our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers by ensuring orders are fulfilled with speed and accuracy. You will be responsible for locating items, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining an organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse inventory based on electronic or paper pick lists.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Package products securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization to maintain accurate records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, strictly following all safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Consistently use and maintain all required PPE.
- Contribute to team goals and productivity targets in our fast-paced logistics operation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Understanding of safety best practices in a warehouse and logistics setting.
- Reliability and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Willingness to follow all company policies and safety requirements, including the use of PPE.
