About
We are seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring all deliveries are accurately received, inspected, and documented. Your responsibilities include verifying incoming goods against purchase orders, noting any damages or discrepancies, and ensuring items are properly staged for put-away. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations and requires a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the smooth flow of goods into our facility. A strong commitment to Safety is paramount, and you will be required to adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. While much of the work involves scanning and data entry, tasks may include some moderate Lifting and moving of received goods. You will utilize our warehouse management system to record incoming inventory and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams. We are looking for reliable, efficient, and responsible individuals who can manage their workload effectively. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing logistics operation. Your accuracy in receiving is critical for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring operational efficiency. You will assist in maintaining a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to all Safety guidelines. This role requires attention to detail and a focus on accuracy throughout the receiving process, including when performing any required Lifting of packages or materials. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times within the receiving area.
