By maintaining regular touchpoints, nurturing leads, and highlighting relevant products and services, you will help convert interest into committed customers. This role ensures that every sales opportunity is maximised and that customers receive a positive, professional, and supportive experience from the very first interaction.
Responsibilities
Engage with potential and existing customers to introduce products and services, using scripts where appropriate.
Convert warm enquiries into qualified sales opportunities by delivering an excellent first impression through strong communication, empathy, and active listening.
Make outbound introductory calls to new leads, building rapport and assessing interest.
Gather and record key customer information, including needs, preferences, and challenges.
Clearly explain and promote our products and services, addressing questions and overcoming objections.
Progress enquiries through the customer journey by establishing trust and interest.
Schedule home and showroom appointments with the relevant local franchisee.
Conduct pre-appointment calls to confirm details and summarise customer choices.
Liaise with franchisees to ensure they are fully prepared for appointments, including sample requirements and customer briefings.
Follow up with customers after appointments to maintain momentum and support decision-making.
Make post-appointment calls when a sale has not been closed, gathering feedback and working to convert opportunities.
Consistently work towards sales targets and contribute to future sales growth.
Maintain regular communication with leads through calls, emails, and other channels.
Track and report on lead engagement, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
Gather customer feedback to help refine the warm-calling process and enhance the overall experience.
Share emerging trends or insights with the management team.
Carry out any other reasonable duties aligned with the role.
Qualifications
Proven sales experience, ideally telephone-based.
Demonstrated success in meeting conversion KPIs.
Experience in upselling or cross-selling products and services.
Competence using CRM systems and sales tools to manage leads and track performance.
Skills
Ability to quickly learn and confidently explain products and services.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and overcome objections.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid understanding of sales principles and effective listening techniques.
Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
