Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in one of our 5 regions, the Area Sales Manager will be a dynamic, sales focused manager who will support the RSM in leading and inspiring a team of field-based, self-employed sales consultants in our industry leading business to customer fitted furniture businesses. You’ll play a key role in developing, managing and motivating performance amongst your team of sales consultants
These leadership roles demand individuals who can manage cross‑functional teams, implement strategic initiatives, and deliver high‑quality sales results in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Manages designer headcount, working with the RSM, National Recruitment Manager and Sales Training Manager to onboard and develop the best people.

Communicates effectively with colleagues, stakeholders and the executive.
Skills / experience:
Proven experience in a field-based sales management role
Background in direct or B2C sales – ideally within furniture, interiors or premium consumer goods
Strong coaching and leadership skills with a hands‑on and motivational style
Full UK driving licence and willingness for regular travel across a broad territory
Key behaviours and attributes:
A track record of excellent leadership skills, with the ability to flex his/her leadership style to given situations.
Resilience – the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Self‑driven and results orientated.
Good communication skills, using the correct medium for both message and audience, at all levels in the business.
