About

Titan Technologies is seeking a Technical Director/Chief Engineer to support a mission-focused Government customer by delivering the full lifecycle of services needed to advance and modernize critical software capabilities. This includes end-to-end technical and evaluative expertise for the design, development, sustainment, and modernization of mission-critical evaluative applications, enterprise cloud infrastructure, AI/ML driven analytics, emerging capabilities research and analysis, systems engineering and integration, and cybersecurity.

Job Description

The Technical Director/Chief Engineer will lead engineering teams in taking a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable enterprise architectures in alignment with DoD and IC standards.
  • Architect ETL processes, data flows, and schemas translations.
  • Develop long-term strategies for integration of technologies into the enterprise for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Guide multi-level engineering teams across requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, service development, integration, testing, evaluation, maintainability, and system-level analysis.
  • Lead planning and traceability activities, including user requirements, architecture alignment, procedures, workflow reviews, and system improvement efforts.
  • Oversee the development of technical solutions and system designs informed by requirements analysis and new technological opportunities.
  • Support the Government in the capture and translation of mission and customer needs into systems and capability requirements, including allocating those requirements to architecture components and supporting related program execution.
  • Contribute to systems integration efforts across multiple systems, services, processes, and interfaces.
  • Provide expertise in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.
  • Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
  • Operate at the level of integrating multiple systems, services, processes, and interfaces within a Major Systems Acquisition across organizational and agency boundaries.
  • Communicate with government on achievability of system and program goals as well as setbacks and mitigation steps for any impediments to those goals.

You MUST have:

  • A DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly
  • 10+ years experience with software architecture, AI/ML systems, and enterprise integration.
  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional
    (CSEP) certification
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
  • Experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Strong knowledge of standard software development processes, such as DevOps, requirements engineering, coding, documentation, configuration management, quality assurance, integration, and testing.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Government information sharing frameworks, policies, and interoperability requirements.
