Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Grandville seeking Controls Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes.
  • Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial robots.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, automation, and control system failures.
  • Develop and execute control system validation, testing, and commissioning protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and optimize process control.
  • Maintain and improve existing control systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Ensure all control systems comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems, including robotics, motion control, and vision systems.
  • Experience with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create electrical schematics and P&IDs.
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex automation and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA).
  • Proficiency in vision systems setup and programming (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
  • Familiarity with MES/ERP integration concepts and data exchange.
  • Basic database skills (e.g., SQL) for data logging, reporting, and analysis.
