Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance team responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of production equipment and systems. This role coordinates preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, manages resources, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and support production goals. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role supports the company's operating priorities—safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead maintenance activities to meet established schedules, quality standards, and customer delivery expectations. Coordinate team assignments and resources to maintain efficient workflow, minimize downtime and monitor performance.
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment uptime. Monitor progress and communicate with leadership to ensure alignment with production goals.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and provide technical guidance. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve recurring equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in the CMMS.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement as needed.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and implement process improvements.
- Participate in capital projects, equipment installations, and upgrades.
- Champion a safety-first culture on the shop floor. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Participate in incident investigations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a respectful and collaborative work environment. Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to production team members.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance technical skills and safety awareness. Provide timely, constructive feedback to support engagement and productivity. Address attendance, performance and conduct issues, administering discipline in accordance with company policy.
- Administer employee related activities including time and attendance, PTO requests and other related tasks.
- Support Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement efforts. Monitor metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Encourage employee involvement in problem-solving and improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve issues and support customer satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support plant-wide initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Maintain working knowledge of Marion Body Work's product flow and manufacturing processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma required; technical training or associate degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, with 1–2 years in a leadership/supervisor role.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC applications.
- Previous experience working with in a quality management system or similar system
