We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst to support a Global Category Manager in sourcing and logistics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, logistics, or both, and possess strong analytical and reporting skills. This role will play a key part in data analysis, market research, and the development of actionable recommendations to drive category performance. There is potential for this position to become full-time based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and summarize data related to sourcing, supplier performance, and logistics operations.
Review contracts for necessary language and assist in the drafting of commercial agreements.
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
Support the Category Manager in RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify sourcing and logistics opportunities.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and cost savings initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement sourcing strategies.
Assist in developing action plans and recommendations based on data-driven insights.
requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, logistics, or supply chain analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization, etc.).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with data collation, summarization, and reporting.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with PowerPoint or similar tools for presenting findings and recommendations.
Familiarity with sourcing/procurement systems or logistics platforms is a plus.
