We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst to support a Global Category Manager in sourcing and logistics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, logistics, or both, and possess strong analytical and reporting skills. This role will play a key part in data analysis, market research, and the development of actionable recommendations to drive category performance. There is potential for this position to become full-time based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and summarize data related to sourcing, supplier performance, and logistics operations.

• Review contracts for necessary language and assist in the drafting of commercial agreements.

• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.

• Support the Category Manager in RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.

• Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify sourcing and logistics opportunities.

• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and cost savings initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement sourcing strategies.

• Assist in developing action plans and recommendations based on data-driven insights.

requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, logistics, or supply chain analysis.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization, etc.).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Experience with data collation, summarization, and reporting.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with PowerPoint or similar tools for presenting findings and recommendations.

• Familiarity with sourcing/procurement systems or logistics platforms is a plus.
