Job Description:

Responsible for completing PPAP packages on time for submission to customers (part layout, capability study, control plan, PFMEA, gage R&R, and other aspects of PPAP)

Taking customer complaints and making sure the corrective action plans are completed and forwarded to the customer in a timely fashion Provides Quality Engineering service through a variety of job duties designed to drive an overall focus on meeting our customers' needs through data analysis, standardization, product launch, product conformity, and product performance.

Job Duties:

Carry out final inspection to complete the evidence that finished products meet specified requirements

Gage Control

Identification, timely calibration, labeling, and maintenance of records

Retrieval of all measuring and test equipment (MTE) promptly, as required for calibration

Enter new measuring and test equipment (MTE) in the calibration system

Maintain a record of current calibration status & schedule of calibration

Ensure measuring & test equipment (MTE) is maintained & calibrated according to the calibration schedule

Create a recall list and timely retrieve all measuring & test equipment (MTE) for calibration

Assign disposition of damaged measuring & test equipment (MTE)

Issue and Distribute the Return Authorization Form

Interface with customer engineering to establish critical characteristics during new product design

Responsible for taking customer complaints and making sure the corrective action plans are completed and forwarded to the customer in a timely fashion

Job Requirements:

Travel to customer location as needed

Assisting in training operators, quality auditors, shift supervisors, and others as required

A college Degree in a technical discipline is preferred.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience, Quality, and Injection Molding experience required preferably in the Automotive sector

LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Principals of Continuous Improvement, and ISO/TS preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55, $65,000.00 per year
