Job Summary:

  • The Analytical R&D Team within client's Agriscience's Crop Protection Discovery and Development organization is seeking an Analytical Technician to join our team.
  • The primary responsibility of the selected candidate is to support scientists in the execution of day-to-day tasks for the method development, non-GLP and GLP validations, and sample analyses.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of ARDT scientists to support sample weighing, preparation, and analysis of active ingredients, intermediate, impurities, and formulation products etc. for quantitative and qualitative purpose.
  • Support non-GLP and GLP method validation lab experiments as needed.
  • Learn and operate analytical instrumentations for sample analysis e.g. HPLC, GC, LC/GC/MS etc.
  • Routine maintenance of instruments and troubleshoot instrument issues.
  • Process analytical data and document the experiment and results timely to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Effectively interact with key stakeholders and maintain flexibility to accommodate urgent projects and reprioritize work as needed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently as needed.
  • Meet all the organization EHS&S compliance needs and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Chemistry or a related field
  • Strong understanding of analytical chemistry is preferred
  • Effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to continually learn and adhere to all safety standards
  • Strong desire to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Drive, enthusiasm, and self-motivation
