Overview:

At Spectrum Killian Dental Lab Alliance (SKDLA), we're passionate about developing talent and building the next generation of skilled dental manufacturing professionals. We are currently hiring an Apprentice Manufacturer to join our growing team and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge digital dental technology in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role offers comprehensive training and real-world exposure across production, quality, and customer support workflows, providing an exciting opportunity to learn the foundations of advanced dental manufacturing from industry experts.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Learn to operate and assist with maintenance of 3D printing equipment used to produce dental restorations including crowns and bridges.
  • Utilize digital scanning tools to capture dental impressions and models.
  • Assist with applying adhesives and materials as part of dental prosthetic fabrication processes.
  • Perform polishing and finishing tasks to ensure smooth surfaces and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to verify product accuracy, consistency, and compliance with laboratory specifications.
  • Accurately enter case data into lab management and tracking software systems.
  • Provide professional, courteous phone support to dental practices and clients when needed.
  • Follow documented procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols to support consistent and reliable operations.
  • Work closely with experienced technicians, apprentices, and production teams to meet daily production schedules.
  • Follow supervisor direction regarding workflow priorities, productivity, quality standards, and safety expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation at all times in alignment with lab cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Basic computer literacy and comfort working with digital systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • High attention to detail with a willingness to learn new skills and processes.
  • Comfortable performing hands-on tasks requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong alignment with SKDLA's values, mission, and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Background or exposure to the dental industry or medical manufacturing environments, a plus.

The anticipated hourly range for this role is $18-$23. Final compensation will be individually assessed and may differ based on a variety of factors such as your experience, qualifications, education, skill set, certifications, and other relevant considerations.
