Kitchen Chef

Job Overview
We are looking for a Chef to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers. Chef responsibilities include learning recipes, following menus and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be able to maintain consistency, manage tasks in a timely manner, and be familiar with food safety regulations.

Duties

• Knowledge in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Follow menus that reflect current holidays and customer preferences.
• Follow proper food handling practices and maintain food safety standards.
• Work alongside co-workers as a strong team player.
• Compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
• Assist with prepping for catering events, ensuring all aspects of food service are executed flawlessly.
• Follow food production processes to maintain quality standards and minimize waste.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a chef/cook role within the food industry.
• Strong experience with demonstrated team management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Experience in general kitchen operations.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred; catering experience is a plus.
• Excellent team player abilities with a focus on fostering a positive work environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
