Class B CDL Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various types of freight. The Truck Driver will operate different types of vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and refrigerated trailers.

Duties

• Operate company box trucks
• Load and unload freight securely and efficiently.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
• Ensure the proper handling of freight, including refrigerated items when necessary.
• Excellent Customer Service for drop offs

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Hazmat Certification Required
• Proven experience in commercial driving with knowledge of route driving.
• Strong understanding of load securing techniques and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.

Pay: $ $23.50 per hour
