Duties

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive math lessons aligned with curriculum standards, ensuring clarity and engagement.
• Assess students' understanding through quizzes, assignments, and interactive activities, providing constructive feedback to promote growth.
• Develop customized lesson plans that cater to varying skill levels, including advanced learners and those needing additional support.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation.
• Track student progress regularly, maintain detailed records of performance, and communicate updates with parents or guardians as appropriate.
• Incorporate technology and innovative teaching tools to enhance the learning experience.
• Support students outside of class hours through tutoring sessions or extra help as needed.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of mathematics across multiple levels, from basic arithmetic to advanced algebra and calculus.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students with energetic teaching methods.
• Experience working with diverse student populations to adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
• Organizational skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and assessment tracking.
• Prior university experience is highly desirable to bring advanced insights into the classroom environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44, $53,999.29 per year
