Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project & Controls Engineer to join our team, supporting construction projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in project management, scheduling, and construction controls, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction initiatives, utilizing advanced construction management software and technical skills to drive project success.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
  • Manage project documentation including blueprints, schematics, contracts, and change orders.
  • Monitor project progress through regular site visits and inspections, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality requirements.
  • Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, and other digital tools for document control, RFIs, submittals, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and management to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Track project costs, schedules, and scope changes to provide accurate reporting to senior management.
  • Support project coordination efforts by facilitating communication between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Implement construction controls to mitigate risks and optimize project delivery.

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction management for medium to high voltage electrical projects with a focus on project scheduling and controls.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, ProCore, and other relevant construction management software.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction site operations.
  • Experience managing large-scale construction projects with a focus on project coordination and time management.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and experience working on heavy civil or infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to construction site safety protocols and quality assurance processes is highly desirable. Pay: $90, $150,000.00 per year
