Job Summary

The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs to ensure the hotel facilities and equipment are in safe and efficient operating condition. The Hotel Maintenance Technician will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic to maintain the hotel's high standards. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction and property safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, patching vinyl, and painting; performs repairs on toilets, sinks, laundry facilities, kitchen and other hotel property.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work conducted.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
• Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs and installations.
• Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
• Assist in the implementation of energy-saving measures.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the exterior of the hotel, grounds, pool and exercise room maintain effective communication and teamwork
• Support the housekeeping and front desk teams with technical assistance as needed.
• Participate in emergency response duties as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
