Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic ABA Program Director to provide clinical, operational, and strategic leadership for our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The Program Director is responsible for ensuring high-quality, ethical, and effective ABA programming while supporting clinical supervisors, driving staff development, and meeting operational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Leadership
  • Provide oversight of all ABA clinical services, ensuring compliance with BACB ethical standards and evidence-based practices

Supervision & Staff Development

  • Supervise and mentor Clinical Supervisor, BCBA's and LBS's.
  • Ensure appropriate supervision and training for BCBAs, RBTs, and other direct care staff in accordance with BACB and payer requirements
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and retention of clinical staff
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth

Program Operations

  • Oversee program performance, productivity, and service delivery metrics
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure programs meet billable and financial expectations
  • Monitor documentation quality, timeliness, and compliance with funder and regulatory standards
  • Support licensing, accreditation, and audit readiness

Strategic & Administrative Functions

  • Participate in program planning, expansion, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on policy development, program design, and service innovation
  • Maintain strong relationships with families, referral sources, and community partners
  • Review, guide, and approve treatment plans, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Serve as a clinical resource for Clinical Supervisor, BCBAs, LBS's and ABA staff
  • Address complex clinical cases, risk management issues, and quality assurance concerns

Qualifications

  • Required
  • BCBA certification in good standing
  • Master's degree or higher in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience providing ABA services
  • At least 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in an ABA program
  • Strong knowledge of FBAs, BIPs, supervision standards, and payer requirements

Preferred

  • Experience directing or managing an ABA program
  • Familiarity with IBHS, outpatient, or community-based service models
  • Experience with program growth, staff development, and quality improvement initiatives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47, $57,511.41 per year
