Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead and facilitate complex enterprise software projects within a fast-paced IT environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Agile methodologies, project management frameworks, and cloud computing technologies. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project lifecycles, and ensuring successful delivery aligned with organizational goals. The Project Manager/Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in driving project success through effective leadership, communication, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews using tools such as Jira, VersionOne, and Microsoft Project.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure timely delivery of enterprise software solutions.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans utilizing methodologies such as SDLC, Waterfall, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
  • Oversee the development of test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and test-driven development processes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests with proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate communication among technical teams (including SQL, Oracle databases, IT infrastructure) and business units to align project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress using tools like Microsoft Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Word; prepare status reports for executive stakeholders.
  • Implement release management strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure system stability and data integrity.
  • Ensure adherence to IT governance standards and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

  • Proven experience in project management within enterprise software development environments.
  • Strong background in Agile practices including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe frameworks; familiarity with Waterfall methodologies is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or similar services.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools like Jira, VersionOne, TFS, Microsoft Project, SharePoint; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving databases (SQL, Oracle), IT infrastructure, and software development processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analysis skills for requirements gathering and process improvement initiatives.
  • Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with IT governance standards including PMBOK principles; experience in program management is advantageous. Pay: $ $52.61 per hour
