About the Role:

We're looking for a professional, reliable, and proactive Security Officer to join our team at One Waterfront Towers, a luxury high-rise condominium in Kakaʻako. This isn't your average "sit-at-a-desk" security job. You'll wear multiple hats—providing top-tier safety services, high-touch concierge-style support, and first-response coordination in emergencies.

You'll be working in a premier residential setting with a strong team, established procedures, and advanced systems like Aware water leak sensors, BuildingLink, and KeyLink electronic key control.

Responsibilities

Security Operations

• Patrol towers, garages, stairwells, rooftops, and perimeter grounds
• Monitor CCTV and fire alarm panels, secure access points, and control building entry
• Respond to Aware sensor alerts and follow leak response SOPs (Category 1–3)
• Write detailed incident reports and enforce house rules with professionalism
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
• Assist in conflict resolution and de-escalation of tense situations.

Concierge & Guest Services

• Greet residents, guests, vendors, and contractors with aloha
• Assist with packages, elevator access, building entry, and amenity reservations
• Answer calls, provide local recommendations, and support resident requests

Emergency Response

• Respond to fire alarms, floods, medical calls, and building-wide events
• Shut off water, initiate containment, and coordinate with HFD, HPD, EMS
• Help lead evacuations or safety actions when needed

Tech & Building Systems

• Use BuildingLink for incident logs, packages, and service tickets
• Respond to Aware water leak alerts
• Track keys with KeyLink system and use radio/Condopro communication tools

Cross-Department Support

• Assist maintenance and housekeeping teams when needed
• Report facility issues (e.g., lighting, trip hazards, leaks)
• Monitor contractor work and support building operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle conflict with professionalism and calmness.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Security, concierge, hospitality, or facilities experience preferred
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Calm under pressure, observant, and tech-comfortable
• Physically able to patrol and lift up to 30 lbs

Schedule:

This is a full-time position in a 24/7 environment. Flexibility is required for rotating shifts including overnights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts are consistent and posted in advance.
