Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher for Home Schooling to inspire young learners in a personalized educational environment. Duties

  • Develop comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with educational standards, incorporating diverse teaching methods and learning technologies.
  • Deliver engaging lessons in literacy, math, science, social studies, physical education, and other core subjects tailored to each student's developmental level.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive, disciplined learning environment.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations.
  • Provide individualized tutoring and support for children with special educational needs or those requiring early intervention services.
  • Incorporate behavior management techniques and social-emotional learning strategies to promote well-being and cooperation.
  • Utilize library services and educational resources to enrich lessons and encourage independent exploration.
  • Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student assessments, attendance, and progress reports for administrative review.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student achievements, challenges, and personalized learning goals.
  • Adapt teaching approaches based on ongoing observations of childhood development and specific needs of children with autism or other special considerations.

Experience

  • Proven classroom experience working directly with children across early childhood and elementary age groups in a home school or similar setting.
  • Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education.
  • Experience working with children with diverse needs including special education, autism spectrum disorder, or early intervention programs.
  • Familiarity with teaching standards such as Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing environment.
  • Knowledge of learning technology tools used for remote or hybrid instruction is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and educational administrators effectively.

Pay: $ $75.00 per hour
