Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
• Assist in the organization of clean dishes and ensure they are stored in designated areas.
• Help with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling duties.
• Support kitchen staff by bussing tables and assisting with events when required.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager promptly.
• Take food orders food orders

Skills

• Experience in culinary settings or food service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with banquet or catering operations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in a hospitality environment.
• Basic knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items.
