Job Description:

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a highly capable and confident Payroll Manager to lead our remote bookkeeping team responsible for processing weekly payroll for nearly 10,000 employees across 280+ offices in 43 states. This individual will play a critical leadership role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll execution while overseeing all aspects of payroll operations, including wage garnishments, payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and multi-state payroll management. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep payroll knowledge, the ability to resolve complex issues, and strong people management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Weekly Payroll Processing:
  Lead the accurate and timely execution of weekly payroll for nearly 10,000 employees.
• Team Leadership:
  Supervise and support the payroll/bookkeeping team, ensuring clarity in responsibilities, accountability, and professional development.
• Multi-State Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations across 43 states, including proper application of payroll codes and wage laws.
• Wage Garnishments:
  Oversee and ensure accurate processing of all garnishments, levies, and wage deductions.
• Reconciliation Oversight:
  Manage and review payroll-related
