Composite Technician

Job Overview
Latitude Aero is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Composite Technicians to join our growing team. If you have experience in aircraft interiors, that is great, if not, we can train you. Candidates with experience in automotive repairs and construction are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on aircraft interior composite components, with a focus on sidewall panels and overhead bins
• Use composite repair materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, resins, and adhesives
• Prepare surfaces; mix resins; perform layups, vacuum bagging, curing, and trimming
• Conduct sanding, filling, and refinishing to restore appearance and functionality
• Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and OEM standards and repair manuals
• Maintain accurate repair documentation, including work orders and inspection reports
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve technical issues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school or trade certification in composites preferred
• Current trade school students encouraged to apply
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to read and understand English
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a certified repair station
• Knowledge of aircraft interior systems and components
• Hands-on experience in composite repair, preferably in an aviation or aerospace environment
• Familiarity with FAA and EASA repair standards and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
