Duties

• Safely operate different types of buses such as motor coaches, school buses, and party buses according to schedule and route plans
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper functioning of mechanical systems
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, fare collection, and answering questions with clear communication skills
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for passengers and fellow drivers
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance needs during shifts
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to report delays, incidents, or route changes promptly
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues to ensure optimal operation

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving, including bus driving or shuttle driving roles
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience operating various bus types such as motor coaches, school buses, or limousine services is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills in English for interacting with passengers and team members
• Background in delivery driver roles or customer service positions that emphasize safety and reliability
• Valid driver's license appropriate for bus operation (e.g., Commercial Driver's License or CDL) with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of paratransit operations or specialized transportation services is a plus
