iT2 is hiring an MS Azure Architect with hands-on experience in Purview, Intune, Defender, Entra Id and Copilot
to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices for a greenfield implementation.

• Focus will be on architecting/designing the MS Purview solution as part of a greenfield implementation of MS Purview with integrations

Specific Contract Deliverables include:

• Preparing the
  Azure and Purview
  environment for
  Copilot
  . Identify sensitive data (cloud & on-premises). Identify oversharing of sensitive data. Enable appropriate monitoring.
• Securing environment for email attachments
• Enabling secure file sharing with third parties
• Configuring Data Lifecycle Management and enable
  eDiscovery
• Convert existing email archives to the m365 platform
• Set up policies in monitoring mode to validate assumptions. Policies will be set up based on available documents, such as Client's Data Classification Policy and Records Management Program Manual.

Overall MS Architect Responsibilities

The Azure Architect will play a pivotal role in advising stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable and secure Azure architecture, and ensuring alignment with the Azure Well-Architected Framework and the Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure.

• Azure Architect must have advanced experience and knowledge of IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance
• Architect and design end-to-end Azure solutions that meet business and technical requirements
• Implement and manage Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance.
• Implement Microsoft Intune for secure device and endpoint management across field and office environments.
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity and automate workflows by ensuring data security governance
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Python for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational tasks
• Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and cost optimization
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams and provide knowledge
