Job Description Summary:
Pinpoint is seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to be an integral member of the project team responsible for managing the development and execution of projects of varying size and complexity. This individual will be required to run multiple projects from start to finish – extracting project details, organizing assets, directing internal teams, managing timelines, coordinating site visits and overseeing installations. A majority of projects will be related to custom fabrication, print production, and/or event related, so an understanding of manufacturing and field operations is required. Some travel is required.
So, what will you actually be doing?
- Be the communications hub and liaison between internal teams, clients, suppliers, and agency partners.
- Maintaining an intimate knowledge of owned projects throughout all stages of planning and production.
- Working with a sense of urgency while updating internal software systems with accurate information pertaining to project, material, design, supplier, and delivery statuses.
- Creating order lines, drafting project proposals, managing RFP's, budgets, and project schedules.
- Facilitating internal kick-off meetings for larger and more involved projects to onboard team members.
- Ensuring the company's processes and workflows are being followed from creative to installation.
- Initiate, develop, and manage schedules and execution plans, monitoring the progress of all deliverables.
- Think ahead and proactively engage in contingency planning, recommending solutions for possible hurdles.
- Set up quality standards and checks for your projects with frequent check-ins.
- Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude.
- Research, assess and take initiative to procure new vendors to improve efficiencies and profitability.
Skills and requirements needed to succeed:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience with project management related to tangible items.
- Ability to read and provide direction on technical drawings
- Experience working with engineering teams and technical design teams
- Background in carpentry, prop making, fabrication or set builds strongly preferred
- Familiar with construction, its process, navigation, and execution of adjacent projects.
- Knowledge of custom fabrication, manufacturing, signage, print production, exhibits, and/or events.
- Combination of office and onsite for site survey and installations.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger for growth that will thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage and organize multiple projects simultaneously across several service offerings.
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- High-energy, yet composed personality with a 'whatever it takes' attitude and approach to work.
- A deep level of strategic thinking, the ability to ask the right questions, and the intuition to think ahead.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and experience in interacting with senior-level stakeholders.
- Ability to create, compose and edit written materials, especially visually attractive presentations.
Some Perks:
- Salary for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 per year
- Salary + Commission plan that's simple and paid monthly.
