Your Daily Adventure (Essential Functions):
- Be a Road Maestro: Safely and courteously navigate assigned Metrolink Tulsa vehicles, ensuring every passenger enjoys a smooth, comfortable, and reliable journey. Your driving skills will be legendary
- Customer Champion: Be the friendly face of Metrolink Help passengers understand MTTA rules and regulations, answer their questions, and ensure a positive experience for everyone on board.
- Accessibility Advocate: You'll be a pro at assisting passengers with safe boarding, de-boarding, and securely restraining wheelchairs. Plus, you'll skillfully handle all ADA-related issues, providing reasonable accommodation to ensure everyone rides with ease.
- Smart Navigator: Exhibit sharp observation skills and confidently handle various passenger or traffic situations, using our radio system like a pro to keep things moving.
- Team Player & Communicator: Stay connected with our Command Center, providing updates or requesting assistance when needed – whether it's from supervision, police, or fire department personnel.
- Detail Detective: Accurately monitor fare collection and complete important reports, including loss reports, information gathering forms, and your daily equipment reports.
- Reliable Rockstar: Show up on time and ready to roll, every single day.
- Go-Getter Spirit: Embrace additional responsibilities as needed, because we're all about teamwork and getting the job done
Who You Are (Requirements):
- A Solid Foundation: You've graduated high school or earned your GED – a great start
- Communication Star: You can read, write, and speak English clearly, solve basic math problems, and follow directions like a champ. You're also fantastic at talking with both the public and your amazing co-workers.
- Tech-Curious: You've got some basic computer knowledge, and don't worry, we'll provide training for using our cool tablets and service software
- Licensed to Drive: You hold a valid driver's license from the great state of Oklahoma.
- Pristine Driving Record: No moving violations in the last 3 years, and definitely no DUI/DWI convictions – safety is our middle name
Ready for Action (Physical Skills):
- You can successfully pass a DOT physical and all additional MTTA requirements.
- You're comfortable sitting for long periods and can expertly steer a vehicle using the push-pull and hand over hand methods.
- You can bend, squat, climb steps, and kneel without restrictions.
- You have DOT-acceptable vision and hearing, with full movement of your head and eyes.
- Mental Marathoner: You can juggle multiple tasks like a pro, work independently with limited supervision, and keep everything organized.
- Flexible & Fantastic: You're willing to work various shifts, which might be longer than eight hours, and on assigned days.
- The Metrolink Vibe: You've got an accurate watch, you follow all rules and regulations, and you always bring a positive, courteous attitude to work with the public and your colleagues. You're also super safety-conscious and always try to avoid accidents.
- Drug & Alcohol Test Ready: You must be able to successfully pass DOT required drug and alcohol tests.
