About
We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our busy logistics facility in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and carefully preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are key to ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will work as part of a team to meet daily order fulfillment targets. We emphasize safety and require all employees to follow our strict guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Conduct quality checks on items before packing to identify defects or damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Assist in receiving and stocking of incoming inventory.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals.
- Support the overall logistics operations of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic reading and math skills for order fulfillment.
- Good attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to follow instructions and wear required PPE.
