We are looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our growing team in Austin, Texas. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently processed, packed, and shipped. You will work within our state-of-the-art fulfillment center, contributing to the seamless operation of our e-commerce logistics. This position requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. As a Fulfillment Associate, you'll handle a variety of tasks, from receiving goods to preparing them for final delivery. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive work environment, including mandatory PPE usage and comprehensive safety training. Your contributions are essential to our customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners and other equipment.
- Inspect products for quality assurance before packing.
- Prepare shipments, including labeling and documentation, according to carrier requirements.
- Receive and verify incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against shipping manifests.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse areas, ensuring efficient space utilization.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and security.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and common spaces.
- Consistently wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as mandated for the role.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with scanning devices and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding and adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including potential overtime during peak seasons.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
