We are seeking an organized and accurate Inventory Clerk to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include tracking stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, identifying discrepancies, and assisting with inventory adjustments. This position is key to our logistics operations, ensuring that we have accurate stock information to meet customer demands efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Record inventory data accurately in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock items to management.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
- Ensure that all inventory is handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Support logistics and operations teams with inventory-related information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse/logistics role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
