You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory management procedures, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring efficient stock rotation. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and identify needs for replenishment or adjustments.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to optimize space and accessibility.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to ensure efficient inventory flow.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist in optimizing warehouse layout and logistics for inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar logistics role.
- Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
