Join our growing logistics team as a Forklift Operator in Boise, Idaho! We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious individual to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse. Your role will involve operating forklifts to load, unload, and stack products, ensuring the efficient and organized flow of inventory. This position is essential to our supply chain operations and requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stock, and retrieve materials efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with accuracy.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as directed.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily targets.
- Ensure products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Be mindful of all safety hazards in the warehouse environment.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs is expected.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with verifiable experience.
- Experience in warehouse operations and knowledge of logistics.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices.
- Ability to perform manual lifting when necessary.
- Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail is crucial for accuracy.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
