About
We are seeking an organized and efficient Receiving Clerk for our Austin, Texas facility. This role is vital to our logistics process, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately received, inspected, and documented. You will be responsible for managing the receiving dock, verifying shipments against purchase orders, and promptly moving inventory to designated storage areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong communication skills, and is committed to upholding safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload all incoming shipments efficiently and safely.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders, noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Inspect incoming products for quality and conformance to standards.
- Accurately record received inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Label and stage received goods for proper put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal departments.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and reconciliation as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or a similar warehouse role is required. Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 60 lbs, is necessary. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are crucial. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with WMS software is a plus. Must adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE. Must be reliable and punctual. Authorized to work in the United States.
