The position requires adherence to all safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and involves regular lifting and physical activity. Experience with order picking systems or warehouse equipment is beneficial, but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment.
- Operate order picking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors.
- Handle the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting and walking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is an advantage.
- Ability to perform regular lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Strong commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
