Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our busy facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is integral to our daily operations, contributing to the efficient handling and processing of goods from receipt to shipment. You will perform a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment are essential. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic logistics team and contribute to our company's success. Adherence to Safety protocols and an understanding of basic warehouse logistics are key.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
  • Sort, tag, and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick orders accurately using RF scanners and pick sheets.
  • Pack orders securely and ensure they are ready for shipment.
  • Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, verifying contents.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to Safety .
  • Wear required PPE at all times, including safety vests and footwear.
  • Perform tasks that require consistent physical activity and occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Participate in inventory control activities and cycle counts.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics .
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and performing manual Lifting .
  • Willingness to follow all established Safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Must be willing to wear appropriate PPE as required.
