About
We are hiring a Material Handler for our Atlanta, Georgia facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse, supporting our extensive logistics operations. Your duties will include loading and unloading goods, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining an organized workspace. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and expect all employees to rigorously follow Safety guidelines and utilize the appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Move materials to and from storage, production, and shipping areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and organization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear mandated PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment issues.
- This role involves frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Support the overall logistics process and team objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a warehouse environment.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including repeated Lifting and carrying.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Team player with good communication skills.
