Job Summary:
Our busy distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona, is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our operations. The Warehouse Technician will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and functionality of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all machinery operates safely and effectively. You will work with a variety of equipment, from conveyor belts to automated systems, and collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse systems.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning optimally and safely according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to all Safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to identify and address equipment needs and improvements.
  • Operate various tools and machinery for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergencies.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting and physical exertion.
  • Commitment to Safety and adherence to all Safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate PPE.
This role requires the ability to work in a dynamic warehouse environment and may involve periods of standing, walking, and kneeling.
