We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator to support our operations in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse by coordinating various logistical activities. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory levels, scheduling inbound and outbound shipments, preparing necessary documentation, and assisting with the organization of warehouse space. You will act as a key liaison between the warehouse team, management, and other departments to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Manage and maintain inventory records, conducting regular checks to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation.
- Schedule and arrange transportation for shipments.
- Assist in organizing warehouse layout and storage areas for optimal efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, management, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Monitor warehouse supplies and reorder as needed.
- Support the receiving and shipping teams with various tasks.
- Participate in the planning and execution of logistics operations.
- Adhere to all lifting safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar administrative/logistics role.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Must be able to assist with tasks involving lifting up to 40 lbs.
