This position is integral to the daily operations of our warehouse, involving a variety of tasks related to inventory management and order fulfillment. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety are crucial. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas with incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists and scanning equipment.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare orders for dispatch and assist with loading trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety procedures.
- Ensure the correct use of all required PPE .
- Perform tasks that require regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and product labels.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including consistent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual.
