About
We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our fulfillment center in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This is a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are key to our success in the logistics industry. You will work with an RF scanner to locate items, ensure correct quantities are picked, and carefully package products to prevent damage during transit. Your dedication to accuracy and speed directly impacts our customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our supply chain. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all team members to follow safety guidelines diligently.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order slips and RF scanner instructions.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities against order details.
- Package products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packing materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Label packages with shipping information accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring easy access to supplies and products.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE such as gloves and safety shoes.
- Be comfortable with frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure order fulfillment deadlines are met, contributing to smooth Logistics operations.
- Understand and follow all instructions related to order processing and packaging.
- Contribute to a positive and productive warehouse environment by maintaining focus and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is beneficial but not required. Ability to read and understand order slips and RF scanner directions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform tasks requiring physical dexterity. Experience with warehouse Logistics is a plus. Must be willing to wear required PPE and follow all Safety guidelines. Ability to perform repetitive Lifting .
