About
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy distribution center in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is critical to the efficient movement of goods within our facility and is a key component of our Logistics operations. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move materials to and from storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, and an unwavering commitment to Safety . You must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the integrity of the products and the equipment. Attention to detail is essential for accurate inventory management and safe operation. This position requires strict adherence to all company policies and the consistent use of appropriate PPE . While the primary focus is forklift operation, the ability to perform occasional manual tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds, is also necessary. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and unstack merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of forklift equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and operating procedures.
- Wear all required PPE at all times.
- Ensure smooth flow of goods, supporting our Logistics objectives.
- Ability to perform tasks that involve manual handling, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
