About
Our Dallas, Texas facility is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our dedicated logistics team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. This includes operating forklifts and other machinery to load and unload goods, transporting inventory to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. Your role is crucial for maintaining the flow of products and ensuring the overall efficiency of our operations. We prioritize a secure working environment, and all team members must strictly adhere to safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and the operation of heavy machinery, so a strong physical capability and attention to safety are essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials and products to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification or demonstrated experience.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar logistics role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 70 pounds) and other physical tasks.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
